In 1895 Auguste and Louis Lumiere invented the Cinematograph that included camera, projector and printer. Within months they became the main European cinema producers, earning millions within the nearest time.

History of invention

As it was above said, the very start of the "projecting moving picture on the screen" was invented in 1600. At that time, it was a genuine revolution that was applied in the form of attraction bringing very good income for three hundred years.

The theoretical basis of future art genre was laid by the works of "Treatise of Human Nature" and "An Enquiry concerning Human Understanding" written by David Hume that explained the association of human ideas with images and positive affluence on the audience.

With invention of zoetrope, mutoscope and praxinoscope in the 1860s, Leland Stanford and Edward Muybridge arranged to hold a "motion picture" show using 24-series stereoscopic camera. It happened on June 11 in California at the farm. Two show men took pictures of riding horses in the presence of press with all present being shocked and bewildered. It was the first ever-made film that was the start of all future commercial success.

Another auspicious film "Roundhay Garden Scene" was done by Louis Le Prince in Leeds, England in 1888. This screen film is considered to be the earliest movie.

Soon afterwards, William Dickson invented a certain form of chemical strip that could fix a sequence of images. Mostly, it was a photographic device. Anyway, this gadget could be applied for projecting moving pictures.

Finally, Thomas Edison invented the first practically-used device that was then named the Kinetograph or the Kinetoscope. It was a facility that needed a celluloid film to be put in lit by the lamp and watched through lenses. Within the same year, Kinetoscope spreads to Europe very quickly establishing hundreds of cinema businesses.

Eventually, in 1895 Auguste and Louis Lumiere invented the Cinematograph that included camera, projector and printer. Within months they became the main European cinema producers, earning millions within the nearest time.

From that time on, screen films are one of the most lucrative art genres.
